ABOUT ME
Waltham is My Home
I’m the son of Bolivian immigrants who raised me in Waltham. This city welcomed us with open arms, but in middle school, my family was separated. I chose to stay here and became the first member of my family to go to college, graduating from UPenn.
As City Councilor, I led the fight for stable rents and affordable homeownership. I championed small businesses and secured funding to improve parks and protect our open spaces. Mayor McCarthy blocked progress every step of the way.
The McCarthy administration is beholden to special interests, threatens our food pantries and community farms, and drastically underfunds our schools. The mayor sold out Waltham to Boston developers, making it unaffordable.
I’m running for Mayor because right now, there’s no vision for our future. I will be the mayor who brings people together to write the next chapter in Waltham’s history.
